Synopsis
Blossoms Shanghai focuses on Shanghai in the early days of reform and opening up. It tells the story of the little people represented by young A Bao, who seizes opportunities, exerts his talents, rewrites his destiny, and grows up.
It follows the massive changes during the 1990s, a great era when everyone is vying for the top. A Bao tells a rags to riches story as he becomes the wealthy executive Bao. He has tasted success and failure to become a legend for the children of Shanghai. There’s been magnificent times, different women that have left an impact on him, ups and downs and the truth of an era.
